We found a hidden gem nestled in the tranquil Wye Valley. the location couldn't be better, with stunning river views and two charming pubs a stone's throw away. the quaint village of Upper Redbrook is true to its name, and there's a pleasant path perfect for leisurely walks. Siobhan, the owner, was a delight and made us feel at home. Our room was impeccable, with lovely bathroom amenities and comfortable bedding. Breakfast was a feast that we'll still be dreaming of for weeks.
Although there were limited bikes available , Siobhan was kind enough to lend us a picnic blanket and snacks for our stroll.

The location was great, very close to the town center and with lots of amenities nearby. Plus, the breakfasts were delicious with a variety of options to choose from, including homemade pastries and jams. the rooms were spacious and comfortable, with cozy beds and clean linens.
Our Christmas experience wasn't what we hoped for. the decorations and atmosphere were lacking, and the staff didn't seem particularly festive or welcoming.

We spent our Christmas holidays at a wonderful hotel that exceeded our expectations. The organic breakfast served was delicious, especially the homemade blueberry muffins. We enjoyed the stunning location of the hotel, which is located right on the river and offered some beautiful walk opportunities. The owner was very friendly and helpful, offering us great recommendations about the local attractions. We also loved the little touches in the room, like the soft towels and quality bathroom products.
the mountain bikes were not suitable for shorter people, which was a little frustrating. Despite this, the hotel owner went above and beyond to make sure that we still had a pleasant stay by offering us a picnic blanket and snacks to take with us on our walk.
